Training Course
200-Hour Yoga Teacher
Cintamani Yoga is a school recognised by Yoga Alliance and CSEN. We accredit certificates recognised nationally and internationally for Yoga teachers.
Just as the philosopher's stone Cintamani transforms anything it touches into gold, this school aims to develop the potential of the individual, transforming the heart into its precious being.
The main style offered is vinyasa yoga, a fluid and dynamic style that is nevertheless very meditative and deep. Themes flow through the postures, capturing symbols and meanings, thus acting on the practitioner's body, mind and emotions.
Cintamani is a school that seeks to adhere to the seriousness of the yoga tradition. The teachers try to follow the principles of this practice, so as to be exemplary in their teaching.

The āsanas will be explored in detail according to their benefits, contraindications and subtle anatomy (Chakras).
Meditation and Mantra Recitation
Meditation is a practice increasingly recognised for the countless benefits it has on our system and, therefore, we will learn different techniques to help ourselves and our students enter a state of consciousness in which a profound inner transformation takes place.
We will practise: kirtan (devotional chanting with musical instruments), meditations and visualisations on the chakras and on awareness.
Experiences of transformation: healing circle, inner dialogue, therapeutic touch, supported asanas and other effective techniques to regain energetic balance.
Anatomy of Yoga
We will learn the basics of human anatomy, how to apply that knowledge to the needs of the individual, and how to improve our vocabulary and physical knowledge.
It is important to know our body and its anatomy so that we can better help our future students practise without harming their bodies.
Asana techniques
We will learn techniques to assist students during the asanas and methods to improve our communication while teaching.
Effective techniques will be taught and immediately put into practice on your fellow trainees, to learn how best to bring the student into the right posture.
There will be the chance to teach in front of other students, and to give and receive feedback to improve your teaching.
Relaxation techniques that students love to receive will also be taught.
Pranayama
Pranayama is the science of breath. Learning to breathe means strengthening physical and mental health and therefore improving the quality of life.
We will learn to practise and teach:
Abdominal breathing, complete yogic breathing (three-part breath), Sitali (breath to cool the body), Bhramari (humming bee breath, effective for deep relaxation), Anuloma Viloma (alternate nostril breathing to rebalance the right and left hemispheres of the brain).
Philosophy and ethics of yoga
From the Vedas to the Upanishads we will explore the ancient philosophy of yoga to understand where this practice, so effective in our present time, comes from. We will take a leap in time to rediscover a wisdom that will help us expand our mind and make room for a new vision of reality.
We will study the history of modern yoga, going deeply into the study of the Bhagavad Gita, and we will explore Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, analysing the part on Ashtanga Yoga.
Ethics for the teacher will be fundamental in order to bring this teaching while maintaining its purity.
Subtle anatomy
Particular attention will be given to subtle anatomy (chakras) to empower the individual in their teaching. By the end of the course, each student will know their own imbalances and will have the chance to restore balance to all the chakras, through the countless exercises that will be offered during the training.
The chakras will be explored in detail in order to best understand the different techniques to use to find balance within ourselves and in others.
We will be taught: asana, mantra, visualisations and other techniques to rebalance one's own energy system.
There will be Psycho-Drama performances on the chakras and on the three gunas.
The Kriyas
These are purification processes to keep body and mind healthy according to yogic and natural methods.
We will learn techniques to counter common ailments such as cough, colds, constipation, eye problems, etc. through useful and effective techniques that can easily be done at home without any additional cost.
We will learn the theory of the practices of: Jala Neti (cleansing of the nose and throat), Kapalabhati (breath of fire), Vamana (cleansing of the lungs and respiratory tract)
and Virechana (cleansing of the intestines).
Basic concepts of Ayurveda
Ayurveda is an ancient science of wellbeing that teaches us to recognise our physical and mental constitution in order to understand how to live in the best way according to nature.
We will learn to integrate ayurveda into our daily life in order to live a balanced and healthy life. We will explore the concepts of:
-
Prakriti(our nature)
-
Dosha(vata, pitta, kapha, constitutions according to the natural elements)
-
Guna(the three material influences) and chakras in accordance with the doshas
Yoga marketing and business
